What is Sandwich Day?

For 2010, CASA will allow teams to pre-order 500 boxed lunches ($10 for a whole sandwich, $7 for a half sandwich) to raise funds for their Kid Walk team. Lunches include your choice of meat or tofu, cheese and toppings on fresh baked hoagie rolls, a bag of chips, beverage choice and a cookie. Orders can be placed in businesses or meeting places in Eureka, Arcata, Fortuna and McKinleyville. Thanks to a wonderful sponsorship from Ray’s Food Place, any team member who wishes to sell sandwiches for their team can collect 100% of the funds from the sandwich day sales they garner. Only a total of 500 sandwich orders can be accepted for 2010, so turn in your order forms early! Lunches can be picked up at noon at the Veteran's Memorial Building (11th and H in Eureka) and free delivery will be available for orders of 16 boxed lunches or more – even to the further locations. Individual sandwich order and coordinator sheets are available below. Sandwich Day is set for September 17, 2010.
