Raising money with your Kid Walk team is fun and easy. Every season, teams easily exceed the $1,000 minimum goal – the cost of providing an abused or neglected child with an advocate each year. Use the links below to get started, submit your team’s fundraising plan, learn how to take advantage of online fundraising, read about other fundraising strategies, and educate others about the need for CASA and the Kid Walk.
For more information on Fundraising Resources, you can also contact Jema Patterson, Development Director at 443-3197, or kidwalk@humboldtcasa.org.
Where to Start?
1. Recruit a team! We recommend eight members - they can be friends, family, co-workers, or anyone you can think of that might be interested
in helping abused and neglected children.
2. Attend one of the CASA Kid Walk Team Captain Information Sessions.

Each team is asked to submit a fundraising plan to improve the success of their efforts. The office will keep a copy of the plan on file so we
can provide the best support possible for each of your fundraisers. Click here for more info or to submit a plan.

When a team registers, each Kid Walk team member is given the option of having their very own web page for fundraising. If you use email and the internet on a regular basis, we at CASA strongly encourage you to use the Firstgiving online fundraising.
On-line fundraising is one of the fastest, easiest, and most effective ways to tell the CASA story to your friends, family, and associates.
When people make a donation using your page, you don’t have to bother with cash, checks, or turning money in at the office.
They’ll get an automatic thank you, and you’ll get an email notification so you can thank them personally.
