We are the CASA staff team comprised of CASA Staff, CASA Alumni, and friends. Although were exempt from the "top earners" competition, we're still raising money because we care so much about CASA kids.

Child Support CSSR
Team Child Support CSSR was formed as a way to reach out and help the children and families in our community. Our team members are thoughtful, spirited individuals who give their time to help others and appreciate the mission and goals of CASA.

Chipmunks
The adult members of our team are all recovering from one addiction or another and in recovery it's essectial to get out, live life, give back, and most important have a bit of fun. Is there a better eay to do that and help the children of our community at the same time? We think not! So come on people, form a team, join the fun and brighten a child's future.

Peter Krueger had walked previously, then Sherry Hazelton became a CASA and then last year it kind of grew with all of us being in Chamber of Commerce in Fortuna.

I am a CASA volunteer. I have participated in this walk for many years. My friends are all of the people I write to soliciting support for CASA. This year I have 23 friends on my list. Sheltering Angels
I am a board member, team captain and team mentor. I introduced CASA to some new friends this year (Judy and Sondra) who share my compassion for children and my desire to improve the lives of the little ones who need their voices heard in court. I wanted a team name that had the word "angels" in it, and my friend, Sondra, suggested "Sheltering" as in "house", "CASA", and "protection". "For the Sake of the Children".

Tristan Mitchell
Tristan recently became a CASA for a young boy and is a full time student majoring in Psychology. Before moving to Humboldt County in 2007 he spent 5 years working for San Francisco Bay Area PBS Stations KTEH-TV and KQED-TV and served as the Secretary of the Board of Directors for the Billy DeFrank LGBT Community Center in San Jose. Tristan currently works part time as a Master Control Operator for the Eureka Television Group.
