What Is the CASA Kid Walk?
The CASA Kid Walk is a season during which walkers and teams in the community stand up for abused children so they stand a chance at better future. Participants fundraise to help
abused children get the advocacy they need.
Most teams begin fundraising sometime between the kick-off in August and the end of September.
Since it takes $1,000 to provide an abused child with a CASA each year,
the suggested minimum goal for each team is $1,000.
The suggested minimum goal for individual walkers is $200.
100% of the money raised by this event
stays in Humboldt County.
